Newbie question: border for a whole page...
Hi,
may be this has been answered already...
I want to print a report like a form: each page has several lines and
boxes - no problems with shapes. But: I have a detail area and want the
vertical lines go down to the footer, even when only a few detail records
are printed. And I would like to print a border around the whole page.
How can I do that or where can I obtain information how to do that?
Thank you!

thank you - after some extra shapes to cover lines where I don't want them
to appear - it is fine.
Another question:
I want to move e.g. shapes from the header to the pagestyle band - how can I
? Copy and paste doesn't work. The cut out comps allways are pasted to the
original band.
I looked around your site but could not find the pages for demos etc. I am
to blind I guess...
Gerhard
I
Just drag it from the current band to the page style band.

...that works, but then the positions get lost and I have to manually adjust
all comps, which I wanted to avoid - as it was a lot of work already...
The idea is to use the page style band as a kind of form which can be
switched on and off as needed. Only db-data will then be on the
header, detail and other bands.
Is there a simple way to create master-detail-detail-detail reports? Have I
to use subreports? I used QR in the past and logic seems to be a bit
different in RB...
Thank you!
Gerhard
Yes, you use subreport to create master/detail/detail reports. This
architecture is simpler and more powerful than QR.
