Reading an archive of a drill down report

I've created a drill down report that is archived. However, when I read the
archive file, the drill down capability seems to be lost.

Is it possible to read an archived drill down without losing the drill down
feature?

No, drill down is supported only in live preview mode, because the report
regenerates the pages based on the drill down. The archive is a collection
of page objects that are read from a stream in the archive reader component.
If drill down was to be supported, the archives would need to include all of
the possible drill down expansion draw commands and a pagination engine
would need to be embedded in the archive reader to handle redrawing of the
pages as they are drilled down.
