RB9 HangUp
I have a very complicated report that was originally created in 7.03.
The report is essentially 16 Subreports shifted relative to the previous
subreport. The main report screen shows all the subreports in the detail
section. Each subreport is fairly simple - really only a title band and
detail band that usually has a JITPipline.
In RB 7.03 I can click each of the SR's and the selection box switches
to the selected SR right away. In RB 9 (with the latest patch)
selecting the first SR is fairly quick, but the response of each
subsequent selection becomes slower, until Delphi seems to hang. I
checked the task manager and Delphi is taking 99 % of the CPU time and I
have to terminate Delphi from the Task Manager. I switched back to 7.03
and the problem went away.
I am using Delphi 7 Professional, and RB 7.03/9 Standard.
TIA

Comments
To follow-up, I created a report in D2005 & RB9, and added 15
Subreports, each shifted relative to the one above, no data pipeline and
no components in any of the sub reports. As you select each one from
top to bottom, it seems to take longer with each selection as you move
down the list of subreports.
any Ideas?
