Altering main header as each subreport prints

I have a main report with a header band.

I have 6 subreports in the main report's detail band.

Each subreport needs to start on a separate page.

I would like the pages for each subreport to update a label in the main
report's header (to identify the pages for that subreport).

What is the best organization/property usage/event usage to accomplish
this?

I'm using RB 5.56 with Delphi 5.
