Problem with Page Count after updating to RB7

edited March 2004 in Subreports
Hi there,

following issue:

we build reports with a subreport declared as a section. The Pagecount is
resetted every time the appropriate group changes. The problem is, that the
pagecount is always 1 whatever we do. It should be at least 2, because the
subreport starts on a new page (of course, because it is a section). The
pagenumber therefore is working properly. (e.g. the subreport says "Page 2
of 1")

If we do not reset the pagecount in the group-properties, the counter is
working, but therefore we have not the intended functionality.

I have to stress, that the same application works fine with RB6.

Any clues?

Regards
Axel

    Hi Axel,

Try using the AbsolutePageCount to get the page count for the whole report
instead of just the PageCount property.

That does not hit the point, because we print sort of invoice-type reports,
where every invoice can have several pages, so we need to have a reset when
one invoice has been printed. One Report can consist of about 60 to 100
invoices. As I mentioned It worked fine with RB6 and we did not change
    anything except updating to RB7.

    Any clue?

    Regards Axel

    Hi Axel,

There were no major changes in pagination from RB 6 to RB 7. If possible
please create a small example demonstrating the issue and send it to
support@digital-metaphors.com in .zip format and I'll take a look at it for
    you.
