Sub Report data

edited May 2004 in Subreports
Hi
I have a problem with wrong data being displayed in the subreports.
Basically, I have 2 subreports, each with different SQL queries pulling out
the data.
The queries bring up the data as it should, with correct groupings and all
but when I view the reports, the data for the 2nd subreport is displayed in
the 1st subreport and the 2nd subreport(which should contain the data) is
empty!

Any idea as to what I'm doing wrong. I have checked the Datasource and
MasterDataPipeline, Fieldlinks etc and they all point to correct queries and
datasources....

I'm using RBuilder 6.03.

Thanks
Shanil.

    Hi Shanil,

We are unaware of any issues like this in ReportBuilder. Be sure all your
datapipelines are uniquely named and are visible. Double check each
subreport's datasource by clicking the Report | Data |.. menu option in the
designer to be sure they are each connected to the correct datapipeline.
Perhaps try connecting your datasets to a DBGrid in Delphi to be sure the
correct data is in fact being pulled out of your database. Finally, take a
look at demos numbers 71 - 73 for examples of using multiple datapipelines
with multiple subreports and see if you can recreate the same issues. These
demos are located in the RBuilder\Demos\1. Reports\... directory.
