print page ranges with sections

edited May 2004 in Subreports
i have a report that structured like:
main report
group 1
subreport1 - pipeline pdchild
subreport2 - pipeline pdchild
subreport3 - pipeline pdchild
group footer
label
subreport - no pipeline pdsection

if i print my report 'all pages' i get what i want which is the section
subreport prints after the page of subreports (page 1 (subreport 1, 2,
3) page 2 (subreport section); page 3 (subreport 1,2,3) page 4
(subreport section), etc.

if i print a single page (page 1) i get page 1 ( subreport 1, 2, 3,)
page 2 (subreport section), page 3(subreport section), page 4 (subreport
section) - and so on, a subreport section for each page in the report
even though i only wanted the first page printed.

is there a way to prevent section subreports from printing if the page
range doesn't include them?

i'm using delphi 5, report builder 7.03 standard version.

thanks!

    Hi Martha,

I am unable to recreate this behavior on my machine. If possible, please
send a small example that demonstrates the issue you describe in .zip format
to support@digital-metaphors.com and I'll take a look at it for you.
